From December 1 to 4, the city of Panama hosted the XXIV Work Sessions and Administrative Council of ASIPI, an event attended by representatives from the most prominent law firms and intellectual property specialists across Latin America.
The event’s agenda covered the most significant topics and latest trends in intellectual property and featured expert panels, workshops, and social activities designed to foster education, engagement, and networking among participants.
This year, ASIPI also celebrated its 60th anniversary, marking six decades of commitment to the defense and promotion of intellectual property rights.
Panama, the chosen host city, not only provided a vibrant cultural and tourist experience for attendees, offering landmarks such as the Panama Canal, Casco Viejo (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and other attractions, but it is also home to CENTRAL LAW’s two offices in the country.
Representing CENTRAL LAW’s Intellectual Property team at the event were Fernando Díaz Durán from Guatemala, Linette Torres from Panama, and Yolianna Arosemena Benedetti, a partner at the firm and Regional Director of Intellectual Property.
