Our Director of Intellectual Property in Guatemala, Fernando Díaz Durán, joined leaders and professionals from the Creative Industry at the IV Orange Economy Forum, organized by the Orange Economy Commission of the Guatemalan Exporters Association (AGEXPORT). The event, held from February 29th to March 1st, served as a comprehensive platform to explore the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in this innovative field.

Under the theme “Beyond Ideas,” the forum focused on seeking new perspectives and strategies to drive Guatemala’s economic development through innovation and creativity. Keynote speeches delivered by national and international experts highlighted success stories and emerging opportunities. Additionally, panel discussions addressed crucial topics related to the convergence of creativity, technology, and business, providing a space for idea exchange and strategic reflection.

During the event, Fernando Díaz Durán, through the Central Law booth, addressed queries and advised participants on best practices for protecting their intellectual property in innovations and creations through copyright, both for safeguarding their works and for their economic exploitation. Furthermore, he seized networking opportunities offered by the forum to establish contacts, collaborations, and strategic alliances aimed at enhancing the positive impact of this growing industry.
