UNWTO projects recovery of tourism in Latin America by 2024

The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) estimates that tourism in Latin America will recover to pre-pandemic levels by 2024. According to the organisation, one factor contributing to this projection is the forthcoming opening of new luxury and boutique hotels in Panama, the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica, among other countries in the region.
