
Linette Torres
Is a senior associate at Central Law Panama and member of the IP Department.
She is a graduate in Law and Politics Sciences of the Universidad Santa María La Antigua – Panamá (LLB, 1997), with a Master in Intellectual Property from UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law – Concord, NH (LLM, 2000) and an International Diplomat in Regulation of the Data Protection in Panama from Universidad Latina – Panamá (2022).
Linette is a lawyers specialist in IP litigation at the civil courts of competition and consumers representing clients of diverse sectors including: sports, fashion, telecoms, retail, food and beverage, banking, fintech and pharma.
She has been ranked by international directories such as Legal 500 as an IP Rising Star (2018) and as an IP Litigation Rising Star (2021).
She is a member of the Panamanian Bar and local Association of IP known as APADEPI.
She speaks Spanish and English.
