José Pablo González Espinoza is of counsel at CENTRAL LAW in Costa Rica, a tax and business attorney with more than 20 years of experience in taxation, transfer pricing, corporate and transactional advisory, and the representation of taxpayers before tax authorities and administrative courts. He advises clients on tax planning, tax compliance, and the structuring of domestic and cross-border transactions.
He earned his Law degree with honors from the University of Costa Rica. He holds a Specialist degree and an Advanced Studies Diploma (Pre-Doctorate, DEA) in Tax Law from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Toledo, Spain, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Taxation from the University of Florida, Gainesville, USA.
Member of the Board of Directors Costa Rican Institute of Fiscal Studies (ICEF): Costa Rican chapter of the International Fiscal Association (IFA). Active member of the Costa Rican Bar Association and member of Member of its Commission on Uniform Law for International Transactions.
