
César J. Linares Rodríguez
Mr. César Linares is a Managing Partner of LMV Advisors in Dominican Republic and is in charge litigation and alternative dispute Departments of the firm.
His practice is dedicated in the resolution of civil cases, among others: civil liability for breach of contracts or for facts caused by third parties and protection of inheritance or matrimonial patrimony. In addition, it provides assistance in arbitration and judicial conflicts in the areas of labor, real estate, and criminal (economic crimes). It also specializes in handling commercial conflicts between the State and individuals, whether through the application of Law No.340-06 on Public Procurement and Contracting, or in case of threat or violation of the fundamental rights of individuals by the State.
After graduating as an attorney from the Universidad Católica, in Dominican Republic, Linares continued his studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (Master’s degree in civil Procedural Law), and later at Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (Master’s degree Procedural Law) and now the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (Master’s degree in Administrative Law and Economic Regulation). Member of the Bar Association of Dominican Republic. He speaks Spanish and English.
In the academic field, he has taught at the Faculty of Juridical and Political Sciences of the Catholic University of Santo Domingo, in the subjects of Constitutional Law, Introduction to Law and Labor Law.
