GUATEMALA – Guatemala aims for a 9.22% growth in exports of diverse manufactures in 2024.

According to the Diverse Manufacturing Commission, part of the Guatemalan Association of Exporters (Agexport), exports in the manufacturing sector will reach more than USD 2.9 billion in 2023. According to this entity, which groups 163 exporting companies from 10 subsectors and generates more than 500,000 direct jobs in Guatemala, the products that were exported, included in the description of diverse manufacturers, were pharmaceuticals, fertilisers, glass, rubber and cardboard, among others. The main destinations of these exports are Central America and the United States.
