We are pleased to announce the addition of Mauricio Guardado to the CENTRAL LAW team in El Salvador, where he will assume the position of Director of the Litigation Department. With an outstanding track record of more than 13 years in the legal field, Mauricio becomes a valuable asset to our firm and, above all, to our clients.
Mauricio Guardado is a litigation expert with extensive experience in various legal fields, including judicial portfolio recovery, administrative proceedings, administrative litigation, civil, commercial, and much more. His education includes a degree in legal sciences from Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas, as well as several diplomas and a postgraduate degree in corporate finance from UCA, among other academic achievements.
In addition to his solid background, Mauricio has participated in multiple trainings, including Civil and Commercial Procedural Law by the National Council of the Judiciary (CNJ), a course in Consumer Law, Arbitration, Anti-Money Laundering Law Training, Electronic Invoicing and the Implementation of the FIU Instructions.
Among his background Mauricio has played key roles in the judicial system, being judicial collaborator in the Fourth Mercantile Court and Third Civil and Mercantile Court in the Supreme Court of Justice for more than 9 years. He has also served as a consultant in high prestige cases in the country.
His litigation experience is truly impressive. Mauricio has provided legal advice to international companies of high renown and has achieved important legal resolutions that have benefited his clients with legal abolitions in excess of one million dollars. In addition, he is an expert in the recovery of debts in excess of one million dollars.
Mauricio’s incorporation to Central Law in El Salvador represents an invaluable asset for the future of our Litigation Department in the country.
