Rogelio Adonay Rosales Chita
Associate Lawyer of CENTRAL LAW in El Salvador. His practice specializes in Tax Law whose professional experience is based on conducting Tax Audits, Accounting Expertise, Tax-Financial Due Diligence, Transfer Price Studies, among others. In addition, it provides legal advice on commercial compliance, Money Laundering and Assets, and on tax matters related to tax and defense processes in tax disputes.
Adonay is an Attorney authorized by the Supreme Court of Justice, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting authorized by the Council of Surveillance of the Profession of Public Accounting and Audit, with more than 20 years of professional experience in tax matters. He currently serves as Tax Director of Central Law in El Salvador.
His professional practice has been developed both in the public sector and in the private sector, serving as high-level strategic positions for more than eight years within the Directorate-General for Internal Revenue, Directorate of Auditing and Audits, among others, which allowed him to be part of Technical Committees for the study and issuance of new tax regulations. He also served for more than nine years as Leader of Legal and Fiscal Practice in two of the Big Four with a branch in El Salvador. Adonay, in turn, is a Member of the El Salvador Accountant Corporation and the Salvadoran Institute of Public Accountants where he is a member of the Tax Support Committee, as well as, he is an active member of the Association of Independent Auditors of El Salvador, and currently serves as professor at the Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas (“UCA”).
