Marcela Aguilar

Senior Associate lawyer at the Tegucigalpa office of CENTRAL LAW in Honduras. She graduated from Universidad Católica de Honduras, UNICAH. She gained her professional experience working in the university law practice, in private banks, companies, and state entities, while completing post-graduate studies in different areas.

Her practice concentrates on Administrative, Labor, and Tax Law, and on Energy Projects and Public-Private Associations. In addition, she has training in: Public-Private Alliances (November 2012, from COALIANZA, Tegucigalpa, Honduras); in Customs Systems (May 2013, from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tegucigalpa–CCIT–Honduras); in labor contracts (June 2013, from the Center of Reconciliation and Arbitration of the CCIT); in Tax Updates at AHIBA (August 2013); in the “Regulation of Transfer Prices” (June 2013, at AMCHAM); in Banking Law in terms of Credit Lines (September 2014, at AHIBA). In addition, she has completed Reconciliation Training modules from the Center of Reconciliation and Arbitration of the CCIT, Honduras (October to November 2014). Additionally, she completed the Arbitration Day 2015 course from the Honduran Young Arbitrators association (HYA).

She speaks Spanish and English.
